How to identify whether the skin is sensitive?
If you notice that your skin is flaky, red, itchy, rough, it means that it is the sensitive type. These symptoms intensify when in contact with water of when washing the face.
What makes the skin sensitive?
The factors responsible for irritating sensitive skin include: radical temperature changes, adverse weather conditions, air pollutions, har water, detergents, stress, poor diet, stimulants, drugs, inappropriately chosen cosmetics.
How do I determine my skin type?
First of all, make sure to observe the skin after each bath, after applying a new cosmetics and after staying in a new environment. Try to remember how your skin reacts to acids, peels, alcohol, soap, products with a high concentration of active ingredients. Irritation on the skin can be caused even by fragrances and colouring agents. Therefore, use cosmetics intended for sensitive skin only.
How to take care of sensitive skin?
Choose cosmetics with short compositions and the “hypoallergenic” on the label. Use products that support the reconstruction of the hydro-lipid barrier of the skin and those that bring relief to irritations and moisturize the skin. Look for cosmetics with hyaluronic acid, thermal water, rice extract, white tea and Shea butter.
