How are you doing, girls?
Today, we’re focusing on our beauty sins. Sadly, some of us still commit them. There are different reasons: laziness, lacking knowledge on the right care, no access to professional products. If you’re also guilty of the beauty crimes, read on! you’ll see what a proper skin care looks like.
COMBINATION SKIN
Its care is truly demanding. Most women confuse combination skin with normal skin. They think that shiny chin, nose and forehead are typical to the normal complexion. The truth is that there are lots of sebaceous glands in these face parts and they will always produce sebum. Let’s move on to combination skin care. You must pick the right cosmetics that mattify and moisturise the skin at the same time, control the function of sebaceous glands and keep the skin from dehydrating. Use neither thick formulas nor products containing drying substances. The ones with pH 5.5 as well as lightweight gels or emulsions make the best choice.
SENSITIVE SKIN
If you use cosmetics for sensitive complexion yet don’t have this skin type, you do it a lot of harm. Why? You don’t provide it with suitable ingredients. Moreover, sensitive and allergy-prone skin types are often mixed up. Both should be treated in a completely different way. Surely, you mustn’t use degreasing, dehydrating and strongly cleansing products. Go for cosmetics with few active ingredients. They should have soothing, moisturising and protective properties. Dermocosmetics or hypoallergenic products work very well.
ACNE-PRONE SKIN
It is usually too harshly cleansed, exfoliated and dehydrated. If you use cosmetics that work this way, you get rid of pimples and mattify the skin only for some time. Consequently, more sebum is produced. Pimples and blackheads appear on your face. And all you should do is use soothing, moisturising and nourishing products. If you suffer from intensive acne breakouts, immediately visit a dermatologist. Don’t try treating acne on your own because you could do more harm than good.
