3 easy-to-follow recipes for strong and healthy hair

Do you like DIY cosmetics? If your answer is positive then I’ve got some good news for you. I’ve collected a few easy-to-follow tips for gorgeous, fuller-looking and shiny hair. When you finish reading this post, you will have known top home treatments for improving hair. And the best thing is that you will be able to use these treatments straight away because I’m sure you have all the necessary ingredients at home.

EGG HAIR MASK

This is one of the best hair masks you can prepare at home – it helps you supply the hair with vitamins and nutrients. Egg contains enzymes that combat the problem of oily hair, phosphorus, beta-carotene and folic acid, as well as precious fats, vitamins A, E and B-group which are known for leaving hair stronger, as well as iron.

If your hair is either oily or normal, you can use the whole egg. In the case of dry or brittle hair, it’s suggested using only the egg white. How to make your home egg hair mask? It’s super simple: combine one egg (or just the egg white) with 2 spoons of castor oil and a few drops of freshly squeezed lemon juice.

When thoroughly combined, apply the mask to the hair and let it do its magic for a couple of minutes (if you apply it pre-washing, you can leave the mask on for 30 minutes). Rinse the mask and wash the hair normally. For best results, use this mask once or twice a month.

BEER HAIR RINSE

Beer is yet another great idea for stronger and shinier hair. Hop cone extracts have been long known in hair care. You can find many commercial shampoos and conditioners enriched with hop extracts. Why is that? Because beer combats common hair problems like oily scalp, brittleness and volume loss. Additionally, hop is proven to strengthen strands owing to its wide range of precious nutrients such as B-group vitamins, essential oils, tannins and flavonoids.

The easiest way would be to just make a beer hair rinse by just pouring a can of beer all over the washed hair. If you’re looking for something more, I recommend a home oil-and-beer hair mask. Fill ½ glass with beer and wait until the alcohol evaporates (you can buy a non-alcoholic beer to skip this step). Then add a teaspoon of castor oil and an egg. Apply the mask to the hair and let it sit for 20 minutes. Rinse and wash the hair with a shampoo. Voila! Your hair is now fabulous, soft and shiny!

HONEY HAIR MASK / HONEY RINSE

Is your hair damaged, frizzy and dry? Why wouldn’t you use honey? This is an all-natural and deeply nourishing cosmetic that you can use either as a hair rinse or hair mask. Here is how you can make both.

  1. Recipe for honey hair mask: Combine 2 spoons of honey with 3 spoons of olive oil/jojoba oil. Stir until you obtain an even mass – a kind of hair balm. You can either let it sit on your hair for 2-3 minutes, or 15 minutes. Rinse and wash the hair.
  2. Recipe for honey rinse: Dissolve 1 spoon of honey in a liter of water. Pour the rinse all over your hair as the last step of your regular washing routine.

Within just a couple of weeks with those home hair products you will see how stronger, nourished and better-looking your hair will become. Let me know which of the recipes I’ve presented you like most.
